Blamonpem Edorone Pribelle Eginez

In november 1999 I was invited to participate in an
art exhibition. The location was one of the largest greenhouses
in the Netherlands, where huge tropical trees and plants are grown. We
were asked to bring in some art based on tropical themes. This is how I got to
create this image. To me, the shapes in the middle look like palm trees so I thought
it would be very appropiate. By the time I had printed and framed the image, I still
didn't have a name for it. Suddenly it occurred to me that the oval shape resembles
a certain object found in the smallest room in almost every house... But I thought
that calling it "Palmbomen door een w.c.bril gezien" would be a bit to
obvious, and maybe even offensive to potential buyers. So
I scrambled it into an anagram.
